Yes. Submitting a site to the Codex costs nothing. Complete the submission form, choose the chapter that best fits your site, and your entry will be considered for inclusion. No payment is required at any stage.

Sites are organised into twenty-two chapters corresponding to broad subject areas — from Journeys & Destinations to Ledgers & Exchange. Within each chapter, entries are listed in the order they were submitted and accepted into the record.

Use the submission form linked from the top of every page. Provide your site URL and select the chapter that best describes its subject matter. A short description is helpful but not required. Submissions are reviewed before appearing in the Codex.

Yes. Every submission is reviewed before being added to the Codex. We check that the site is accessible and that the chapter assignment is appropriate. Most decisions are made within a few days of receipt.

No. Each site is recorded in a single chapter — the one that best describes its primary subject. Submitting the same site to multiple chapters is not permitted and duplicate entries will be removed from the record.

Most submissions are reviewed and added to the record within a few days. If your submission has been pending for more than a week, check that the URL you submitted is publicly accessible and try again.
